The appearance of this mirror is almost a perfect match to the original on my '11 Rav 4.It physically fits like a glove but when I pulled off the door panel to plug in thw wiring harness I was suprised to see the Toyota female receptor does not match the male plug on this mirror. In the I had to cut off the old plug and splice it onto the new mirror. Complicating things, the wire colors did not match and their order was not correct. By trial and error I figured out the correct sequence so the mirror controller operated correctly. A job that should have been 45 minutes took 2 hours.Once sealed up and door closed the mirror looked flawless.Once I tried it out I discovered the motors in this mirror are slower than the original. Takes about twice as long to adjust this new mirror than the original.Also, at highway speeds the mirror surface vibrates slightly creating a shaky reflection. Original Toyota mirror was steady in its casing.Overall, less expensive than buying Toyota mirror but NOT just as good.Nice!
