The screws weren’t long enough to mount on wall.Well made very sturdy very nice lookingSeveral years ago, we purchased this item. It has been excellent. Durable, functional, etc. When it was time for a 2nd, we ordered exactly the same thing. Sadly, this one is pure cheap crap. The original came with a baseplate, install template and 4 mounting screws. The new one has 2 small sheetrock screws and wafer thin sheetrock sleeves. I'm betting this mirror is pulled out of the wall within a few weeks (and, yes, I know how to install screws into sheetrock). Secondly, the tension screws on the side of the mirror are utterly useless. They should allow you to angle the mirror, but even at maximum tension the mirror freely rotates and "falls" to whatever angle gravity pulls it to. Instead of the mirror "looking up to you," you must squat down to look into it. Pure junk.I think I would have been happier with a little less magnification. 7x is very strong and perhaps a bit more than I require. The quality of the mirror is great, the fault is with my ordering.This mirror has pretty finishing details, is easy to install, and works great. What else can I say? I would purchase it again.This mirror looks really nice was not hard to install. My only issue is it is very hard to extend and turn the mirror. There’s no way to address the issue eitherPoor and/or missing hardware. From the instructions I couldn't really tell if I had everything I needed or not?! Also by design, some type of "spacers" should have been included, to prevent the mounting wall piece from "caving in" when finishing the installation process (tightening the screws). I've wasted enough time and effort at this point, so it's not worth returning. However I certainly wouldn't but it again. I would calculate it being worth about maybe $20 dollars less than what I paid for - pretty disappointed, plus I have to look at it every morning getting ready for my day.Good bath mirror, it might be nicer to have a longer swingarm, but maybe that's just our setupWorks great.
