I love love LOVE this Bible. This is now my go-to Bible that I take to church. And basically my go-to Bible to take anywhere. The size is perfect. It truly is a compact Bible. I did several weeks of research before deciding on this one. I got it for a great deal and I'm so glad I bought it. Here are some points I'd like to highlight:* like I said, perfect compact size* the soft PU cover feels very high quality and soft. It feels like it's going to last, and does not look like it will get all creased up.* the text is a great size too. Very readable and maybe even bigger font than some of my bigger Bibles! Very comfortable to the eye!* every new book starts on a new page, but without a lot of drama. Just a simple headline.* the Bible does not really lay flat although the description led me to believe it would. This is not a big deal for me in the case of this Bible.* that crown of thorns thought. It's everything!* the Bible has silver gilded edges that are beautiful! Mine came with a scratch on the gilding though, which breaks my heart a tiny bit every time i see it :(Altogether, It's still perfect for me. I had a compact Bible in my wishlist for over 10 years and it was totally worth the wait!
